Account Coordinator Sidney Sirdashney joined the Raven Creative team earlier this year, bouncing into the office with an energy that electrified the room in the best way. Her experience spans several industries including energy, healthcare and academia, and she recently completed a Master’s in Communications. Get to know Sidney with this fun Q&A!

What does an Account Coordinator do?

At Raven Creative, I’m responsible for coordinating the execution of marketing and creative strategies, including digital marketing, advertising, brand, web, social media, and content marketing. I communicate with our clients daily to understand their marketing goals and needs, working as the liaison between the client and our internal project teams. I’m heavily involved in the social media and content marketing management process which includes conducting brainstorm sessions, creating monthly content calendars, deploying content across platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, and creating monthly analytics reports.

What is the best part about your role?

Collaborating! I enjoy collaborating on creative content and learning from experienced marketers and strategists. Every day, I learn something new and use this knowledge to help support our clients. I also really enjoy elevating our clients’ brands and communications to bring their expertise to life.

Tell us about your background, where are you from?

I was born in New Jersey and moved to The Woodlands, TX, when I was 8. I relocated to Oxford, MS, for undergrad and then to San Diego for graduate school. I moved back to Houston this year (2024). Prior to working at RC, I worked in communications and media for Kaiser Permanente in Southern California. My background extends various industries, including the arts, energy, academics, and healthcare.

What interests do you have outside of work?

Outside work, I love hanging out with my dogs, Maggie (8) and Molly (15). You can also find me seeing live theatre (I love musicals, Broadway, and performing arts) or at the movie theatre. I’m big into food, so I love eating out with my family and friends.

What is the greatest adventure you’ve ever been on?

The greatest adventure I’ve ever been on is living in London, UK, for a summer abroad program. During my three months, I got to work for a small talent agency and take a business course. This summer abroad was the best adventure because I didn’t know anyone in the program or the UK. I went in only having been to London once and wanting to revisit. It was the most significant challenge for me and a wild adventure.
